People Detector

Detects people in the lifting area and alerts crane operator and/or others of potential dangerous situations.

The People Detector is a software module that utilises computer vision technology and artificial intelligence to detect people as seen from the Optilift sensors / cameras field of view.

Detected people are rendered with a warning triangle onto the live video image on the Crane Monitor. Rules can be created to warn people if more or less people than allowed deck crew is near the lifting area. Warnings and alerts may also be tactile or audible, and can be adopted to end users’ needs.
